SBX Junior World Championships Canceled due to Corona Virus

Sadly we got the word yesterday that the Snowboard Junior World Championships (JWC) to be held in France 3/23-25/2020 has been officially canceled due to the rapidly spreading corona virus. I was counting on that event to up my World Cup standings as I was the 3rd highest World Cup competitor to attend the event. Sadly this is my last year to compete in the SBX Junior Worlds since I will be 21 next year. Last year I missed 2019 JWC due to my untimely shattered wrist at a SBX World Cup in early March, and the 2018 Junior Worlds in New Zealand due to competing at the U20 Ultimate Frisbee Junior Worlds which were being held at the same time in Canada. (It was a tough decision but I would age out of the U20 Ultimate after that year and thought I had 2 more years of SBX Junior Worlds.) Sadly things don't always work out due to events beyond your control. I guess that's a lesson on Life....
